Chemo Therapy & Mesothelioma cancer
My sister-in-law had her first chemo Therapy Wednesday. As of today, Sunday evening she has not experienced the sickness that so many have with it. I pray that she will not.
Of course she knows that there is no cure for Mesothelioma cancer. But hopefully with this treatment it will make the last days of her life a bit better.
I have said that if I ever had cancer, and it was terminal, that I would not take chemo therapy, maybe seeing her go thru this I might change my mind.
They claim that this therapy helps with the pain, I wonder if that is true, or is it a selling point, for the doctors to make more money.
Her daughter told her, if your hair falls out I will cut mine off. Mother told her, don't be silly, that will not help me nor you. If my hair falls out, I will just deal with it.
Sometime back I saw a young mother of 2 fight cancer for 2 years. I visited her in her home thru out that time. I have often wanted to enter something about that. She went thru so much, but thankfully before she dies she accepted Jesus as her Savior.
Prior to that day she asked me to speak at her funeral. I told her I would if I outlived her. Them asked her what would she want me to say. Her reply was, preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I carried out her wish.
This afternoon Glenda got out for the first time, except for the trips to Hot Springs Tuesday to have test run, them again Wednesday to go for chemo therapy.
Her daughter drove her down to visit her mother and father. After church this morning Linda drove over there to visit her sister and see her parents as well. I hope during this time she will get to spend much time with her twin. I will try to make sure she does. For they may not get to spend another birthday together. They were born on Christmas Day 1947.
May God Bless,
Jerry

Support For Mesothelioma Cancer

I started a support group for those who have Mesothelioma cancer, their family, and close friends. Its at this web site. If you or a family member of close friend has been affected by Mesothelioma cancer come on by the group. It is strictly a place for support and kind words and for us to try and help one another.
I have yet to be in contact with anyone else who has this or their family. But I feel they are many out there who needs support from others who are going thru this.
Its sad that many innocent people are suffering from this. If those companies who mined asbestos had of been honest and forth coming, perhaps there would not be so many with Mesothelioma cancer.
But them this world is full of greedy people who are out to make as many dollars as they can, with little concern of what may come of others. Now 2,000 to 3,000 people a year are diagnosed with Mesothelioma cancer because of their greed.
May God Bless,

Cancer, The Enemy

Up until now I have never had a family member that had to go thru cancer. But now my wife's twin sister has Mesothelioma cancer which is cause from exposure to asbestos. From what I gather from reading about Mesothelioma cancer it is only caused by asbestos.

My wife's twin was expose to it because her father worked in asbestos for about the first 5 to 7 years of her life, it seems like many other who worked in it, he brought in home to his family because the dust from it was in his clothing.

The doctors say that she is in the last stage, which does not give her much time, but of course, this will be up to God, after all he is the giver and the taker of life.

Life is not fair, but it sure is unfair to all of those who worked in asbestos years ago while the people they worked for knew the harm that asbestos would cause, but because of their greed for money, they did not reveal the danger. What they did do though is cover this fact up for many years.

Man's greatest fault is their greed, lust for money and what it will buy. Wonder how many lives man's greed and lust for money has caused.

Least I can rest in the fact that God is fair to everyone, those who accept the gift He offers thru Jesus can have eternal life in heaven. Thos who refuse this gift, they will reap everlasting life in hell.

My sister-in-law is a believer, she has Jesus for her Savior, when she passes from this life, the next life will much different. These verse express what life in heave will not have.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Rev 21:4 (KJV)
Where shall you spend eternity, in that place that has no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, where God shall wipe away all tears. Are will you be in that place of eternal death, called the lake of fire. Its your choice to make, no choice means you will spend eternity in the lake of fire.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:18 (KJV)
